Fanshawe freshmen may find commuting to campus a daunting task, however it does not have to be with this simple guide. Fanshawe’s main campus Oxford Street bus stop has several stops with the following available routes: 4, 17, 20, 36, 104 and the 91 Express. The side entrance near the M-building has the 25 and 27 rounding its crescent. The following list explains each route and where they go.

4/104-Fanshawe College to White Oaks Mall

The 4 or ‘The Oxford’ bus is a great way to travel one of the city’s main roads. Heading west on Oxford Street, the 4 will pass Adelaide Street and press on toward Richmond Street where it will hang a left. Cruising down Richmond, it will turn right onto Horton Street and then left to Rideout Street, where it will eventually reach White Oaks Mall. The 104 is an additional set of buses dispatched onto the same route during the academic year, and will travel to the same stops.

17-Argyle Mall to Byron/ Riverbend

The 17 will take you from east London’s Argyle Mall/Plaza to the west end’s Byron Baseline Road. Heading west, it passes Hyde Park, where many great businesses and restaurants reside alongside ample housing. The 17 is a reliable bus route granting many commuters access to work and the main Fanshawe campus.

20-Fanshawe College to Beaverbrook

The 20 is a convenient way to get to the downtown Dundas Street area via Mornington Avenue and Quebec Str eet rather than the Oxford/Richmond option. Passing possible Western University transfer routes, the 20 extends its route to Capulet Lane via Beaverbrook Avenue.

The 20 passes through the Old East Village (OEV), a great area in London offering food, art, work opportunities and nightlife. The Cherryhill Village area is also accessible via the 20, featuring a mall, doctor offices and a quick path up to Hyde Park.

25-Fanshawe College-Masonville Place

Departing from Fanshawe’s secondary bus station, the 25 barrels down Sandford Street to Huron Street where it connects to Highbury Avenue. From Highbury, the 25 turns west onto Fanshawe Park Road, to its final destination of CF Masonville Place.

27-Fanshawe College - Capulet

The 27 makes for a convenient commute between Fanshawe College and Western University. It travels to Huron Street and Highbury Avenue and through to Kipps Lane and Adelaide Street. It then heads westward to the Natural Science bus stop at Western’s main campus, and continues on to the Capulet Lane and Oxford Street neighbourhood before turning back at Lambton Drive and University Drive.

36-Fanshawe College-London Airport

Another short and sweet ride, the 36 connects Fanshawe College to the London International Airport. With multiple variants to the route, students can reach any of the three main airport hubs via Oxford Street.

91-Express-Fanshawe College to Oxford and Wonderland

With only eight stops on the route, the 91 is the fastest way to reach Hyde Park as well as Wonderland Road and Oxford Street area. The 91 essentially cuts out the access to the east end that the 17 provides for the sake of swift transportation to the west end. Use this route if you need to reach a main transferring street like Richmond or Adelaide.
