Weekly update from 106.9 The X

What is going on dudes and dudettes? Although we can't speak for you, at the X we've got funk in the trunk to keep you ridin' dirty for months, or at least partying.

Have you been to the X's new cutting edge website? If not, then you don't know what you are missing: http://www.1069fm.ca/

On there you'll get updates on the best music hitting the airwaves, the billboards and vote for the Hot 7 @ 7. And hey now you have options you can also add us as your friend on Myspace. http://www.myspace.com/thexfm, There you can meet our on-air personalities and find the link to the X website, you can even listen to us live where ever you are in the world, as long as you've got the hook-ups. Don't forget the latest up dates on the fashion show “106.9 the X Presents the Black, White, Red Aids Awareness Benefit.”

Did I say fashion show? If you didn't believe your eyes you can read it again because I did, and we want you to be a part of it. Tickets are on sale just $30 for a delicious dinner and fashion show, or you can come a bit later and just catch the show, and it will be the price on your ticket, so come down to the X in M building at Fanshawe College for complete details and to buy your tickets.

Last week we teamed up with Fanshawe TV to present you with the chance to be Fanshawe's Next Top Model at our Casting Call held on November 2 in the Fanshawe TV studio. Our Top Models will model in the fashion show, so you can be sure they will be smokin' hot.

Remember I said we have funk in the trunk for you… if you missed the Casting Call, and you really want to take part come down to the X broadcast centre in M building at Fanshawe before 6pm week days and you can still help us out, or email e_carr@fanshaweonline.ca. The fashion show will be at the Music Hall downtown on December 2 and we are expecting 500 people to be in attendance so the X is working to blow you all away and X out HIV/AIDS.
