Letter to the editor: Parking problems

Submitted: September 20, 2006

Last week when I was entering my parking lot on campus, a security guard was waiting at the entrance and asked if I wanted to move my space to the other side of the campus, because the parking lot, which I paid to be in, was too full.

If I have a late class (past 11 a.m.) It is practically impossible to get a spot! Even though I paid for it! It's simple math, count the spaces in the lots and sell spaces accordingly. I'm not sure if it is a staffing issue or a computer glitch, but you know it's bad when you have to send a guard out there to ask people to move parking spaces!

Thank you
