Before they were Groo's faithful minions, they searched the world over to serve the most despicable master. Join Stuart, Kevin and Bob on their quest in July.

The summer is a time to relax, drink by a fire, dance the night away and watch some of the most anticipated movies of the year. For all you cinophiles, here is what you can look forward to this summer.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1)

This summer will be full of movies about comic book heroes (including Ant-Man and The Fantastic Four), but the success of the first Avengers means this is the one to watch out for. With what may be the best combination of actors and director to ever team up – and backed by the powerhouse that is Disney – The Avengers: Age of Ultron promises to be an awesome rollercoaster ride. Viewer be warned: Joss Whedon has stated this will be a darker movie than the first, so maybe bring some emergency chocolate to boost your spirits.

Jurassic World (June 12)

It’s been 22 years since the original Jurassic Park, and Jurassic World keeps the timeline, showing the park after 10 years of successful operation. Keeping true to the original as much as possible, this movie will feature animatronic dinosaurs, the panoramic scenery of Isla Nublar and a nod to the park’s visionary creator, John Hammond. Far more than just another sequel, Jurassic World may be exactly what fans have been craving all this time. For those wanting to explore the park beforehand, jurassicworld. com may be one of the best websites ever created.

Minions (July 10)

Looking for something a bit lighter you can watch with younger family members? Minions, a spinoff from the well-loved Despicable Me franchise, may be the answer. Following the Minions from their beginning to modern times, this movie tells the story of how these charming, incomprehensible characters came to be. Hopefully it will feature subtitles, however, or else we may have another Star Wars Holiday Special on our hands.

Paper Towns (July 24)

Attention all Nerdfighters. Another film based on a book by Vlogbrother John Green is on its way. Hopefully less inclined to make entire theatres simultaneously break into uncontrollable sobs than The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns promises to be lighter, while simultaneously still considering the deeper meaning of friendship.

Pixels (July 24)

Peter Dinklage. Adam Sandler. Donkey Kong. Sean Bean. Josh Gad. Pac-Man. Together for the first time in what may be the most nostalgia-tapping movie ever conceived of, Pixels is as likely to be hilarious as it is disastrous. With the world as we know it on the line, only an improbable combination of actors can save the human race from pixelated doom.
