Everyone who's anyone in the local fashion scene will be attending the first annual London Fashion Exchange (LFE) Networking Party, held at the London Arts Project at 203 Dundas St, on September 22.

The purpose behind this event is to unite local professionals and aspiring fashionistas, and allow them to mix, mingle and schmooze, while gaining insight to just how booming the London fashion scene really is.

You can expect a dynamic crowd of photographers, models, agents, fashion designers, hairstylists, make-up artists and more, to network and communicate what they have to offer locally.

A silent auction featuring local gift certificates, salon and fashion products etc, will be held, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the Children's Heath Foundation. Models have an opportunity to win a free photo shoot from award winning photographer David Raposo, and a one year gold membership to the LFE, with a retail value of over $600.

Also, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the launch of the LFE website, and see how you could post your profile to show local employers/employees what you have to offer. Whether you've been in the industry for years, or you are just getting started, this is the place to be next Friday night.

The event starts at 8 p.m. until fashionably late, and is sure to provide great entertainment, wonderful prizes and most of all fabulous company.

The cost for this event is $10 and tickets will sell out, so be sure to purchase them in advance. You can go online to www.londonfashionexchange.com to purchase your tickets and learn more about the organization, as well as the event. You can also get the hottest tickets in town at either the London Arts Project or DeVog Salon.
