As routine smacks you in the face once again and you return from your summer retreat to the classrooms, keep in mind that a new year equals a new you that can lead to a new love but most important NEW SHOES!!! Out with the old-school and in with the new, as this fall takes us on an adventure unlike last year.

Old, and familiar classics are reincarnated to keep you breaking necks as this new twist on everyone's favorite era keeps things interesting.

This back to books fall season is more about playing the game of seduction in the classroom without showing too much skin. While you're studying and partying in your home away from home, it's cheap and easy to look, well, cheap and easy. But from the fashion experts straight off the runways of NYC's fashion week stated ‘ Class always prevails', and in my opinion always will.

That's not to say have fun with it. This season whether you like it or not, a revival of classic 80's fashions will appear on both men and woman. From leggings (yes, leggings) to ankle boots, wide leather belts and skinny, peg leg jeans, this season is undeniably 80's inspired.

As for the fall pallet, cooler weather usually means warmer shades, and this year once again dark stormy colours, such as chocolate browns and smoky grays will prevail for both women and men.

Nautical navy (that can be salvaged from summer's wardrobe) and rich plums are best matched with bold accessories in shades of gold and brass.

Bright colours will be worn rarely this season by the elite fashionistas, but when it is done properly it will make quite the statement.

Sweaters not only go with the changing season for comfort and warmth, but also have evolved to suit many purposes. The sweater-dress, and sweater-coat are new additions to the sweater family that you may enjoy. This sexy, body-hugging look is not only practical (as no girl really likes to freeze) but truly comfortable as well.

Of everything we learned this first week back to school, the most important of course is the 80's revival; from bulky sweaters to bold prints, cinched waistbands and skinny jeans, the ‘like a virgin' look is in, so milk this one for all it's worth.
