You better get your dancing shoes on because the London Paint Invasion is coming to town on November 14!

TechnoColour Dreams and Campstock Party are bringing London its first ever paint party and you can be sure that it will be a ravin' good time.

Campstock is collaboration between two companies, Prevail (based here in London) and Track Avenue (a company in Toronto) that does merchandising, booking, and management. “We teamed up to form Campstock and that's where we met TechnoColour Dreams, so it's a Campstock Presents event that's taking place,” said Sean Hodge, business operations manager at Prevail Music.

TechnoColour Dreams is a new company — they've only been around for a year — from Barrie that specializes in paint parties. “They have two paint cannons and 30 gallons of paint. They basically spray it all over the audience while they're listening to electronic dance music,” said Hodge.

“If you've ever seen Dexter, basically they do the club up like the Dexter kill room, so there's plastic covering everything. It's really weird, and it's out of this world, when you go into a club and you just see plastic everywhere, it looks like they're about to renovate (the place). That's what it's going to look like, everything's going to be covered and there's just going to be paint everywhere!” he added.

The paint that will be used at the event is non-toxic, water soluble, and edible, so don't be too alarmed when you receive that “techno coloured” facial.

“For the event, we recommend that people wear white clothes and stuff they don't mind getting a little ruined and then saving it, because you make some cool patterns after it's all said and done,” said Hodge.

Get your tickets at Jim Bob Rays and Prevail Music or online at ripticket.com for $35.

The Paint Party will be taking place on Thursday, November 14 at Jim Bob Rays (585 Richmond St.). Doors open at 9 p.m. and drink specials will be available from 9 to 11 p.m. Special musical guests include Neon Knights and Violince.
